IAN'S BIOGRAPHY

                 Born on December 8, 1978 and raised in Covington Louisiana. His parents divorced while he was still a child. His mother, Edna worked as a physiotherapist and his father, Robert, as an independent building contractor.Ian lived with his mother and his two brothers, Joshua and Robin. He went to school at St. Paul's, a private Catholic school in Covington. Swimming, fishing and training horses filled much of his leisure time, as well as its involvement in the school theater group and performances by local theater group.At age 10 he began his career as a model, which had to be found that summer in New York. He says that without the encouragement of his mother would not offer anything alone. Beginning in high school decided to let overshadow his career as a model and focus on school and sports. A few years later, when he was given the opportunity to follow the modeling in Europe, Ian grabbed paving the way for the enrichment of his work. Because of the mandatory travel and studies found in cities like Paris, Milan and London.At age 17 he began to study acting and until the 19 had committed to the eminent art instructor William Esper. His fate was sealed as he worked'' temporary'' in a scene at a club in the feature film Black & White (1999). A researcher talent visited a client and accidentally met Ian in a crowd of 400 and immediately signed on to represent him. Happy to have settled in New York, he spends much of his time studying acting, writing and practicing yoga. His hobbies are water skiing, snow skiing and horseback riding.He played in the series "Lost" as Boone Carlyle. Also played in movies like'' The Tournament'' in the ongoing series'' Vampire Dairies'' as Damon Salvatore, from which it earns $ 40,000 per episode.
